Area around the Versate Pass controlled by dragons from the north, largely wasteland

The Versate Pass and the country around its' mouth remain under the control of the dragon Saryn Darrath; these have become a depopulated wasteland known as the Drachenfels from which dragons occasionally issue to trouble the north of Alair.
By 2100 the Drachenfels has extended outwards to cover a considerable area, including Lossal and many other minor towns formerly in northern Tarlanor.
There is no organized structure or rule, though nobody crosses Saryn Darrath. The dragons carve out their own territories and co-exist reasonably peaceably, with some fights for desirable ruins.
Technically the area around Nasirolan is also part of the Drachenfels though there is a gap in between.
