Meabh

Aasimar sorceress from Dalaghendor
1655

Méabh is an aasimar, a planetouched descended from a celestial and she comes from from Dalaghendor.

She is tall with a good figure, dark skinned and has her hair in long red dreadlocks. Her eyes are a peculiar opalescent white without pupil or visible iris. She wears several tribal tattoos across her face and up her arms. Her ears, nose and tongue are pierced, with a fine silver chain connecting her nose ring to her left earring.

She favours the colours purple, red & black; she prefers silver to gold and has a fondness for rubies. Her leather armour is severely cut and practically designed, with small bracers on her arms instead of a shield. She carries several throwing knives in various places, a long sword on her back out of the way and a plain wooden staff shod with silver.

Méabh does not suffer fools lightly, and is known to always remember a grudge. Most aasimars tend to follow their sacred ancestors in championing the causes of good, but Méabh, driven by a dark and mysterious history, blazes her own trail and is not known to be troubled by moral issues.

The sheer force of Méabh's personality should never be underestimated. Her overwhelming presence can either compel helpless adoration or abject terror.

Her skills in the Art Magic have been steadily growing, partly aided by the staff gifted to her by the wizard Erilas in Lossal, and also by the strange and disturbing gifts of the Lost Gods of Khabra. She bears the Regalia of Gennen, his Book, within her mind, which has expanded enormously as a result.

The dreams with which she was visited in the deep Trakar have turned Méabh onto a new path, one which hints at possible answers to the mysteries of her turbulent past. Like Gorfang, she pursued the Blood Snake with the recovery of a specific named weapon in mind as well as vengeance. Having claimed Rilliantorin after the success of this adventure, she has so far made no use of it.

Like Gorfang, Méabh established a base in Lossal, in her case in the Mageguild where she took rooms and created a sanctum laced with traps and odd things. She had other business ventures in mind, notably the distribution of the unique magical FridgeArator®. As ever, she had many plots and secrets active at any one time, and always had a backup plan ready.

Méabh finally seperated from the party during the Sarkrith invasions of Vorsand, and retreated to her secretly-prepared refuge in the Deep Trakar, the ancient Giantish ruins formerly used by the shamans of the Fionath lizardman tribe. From that refuge has arisen the secret refuge known to legend as Sorcerers' Isle, or Tearstone.
