The main port-city of Sildor & last elvencity to fall to the Dragon. The majority of elves who survived the Wars sailed from here for Viridor.

The operation known as Spearhead (the supply and reinforcement line between Viridor and Belamir) was based here, and the rogue Kin known as The Scorpion was reported operating here, snatching elves out of the Prime Material and murdering them.

After the visit of Surya and Hildraft, the Elves suddenly declared that the rebuilt Belegond would become a Freeport, open to any who came to use it in peaceful trade. As a result, its' development was greatly assisted by the aid of the surrounding nations, and it was rebuilt in a fraction of the time.

Open to all, the primary users were New Tellare, Stryre, Belamir, and Dalaghendor, with some trade from the Empire passing through as well. Ships ranged out from the once-ruined quays, plying between the lands of known Alair, and more distant countries not mentioned in these chronicles. The trade, the tolls that were exacted, and the business that was done, made Belegond rich, and the city that began to arise from the ruins reflected this.

In the years of Tribulation after the Flaying, Belegond alone prospered, slowly expanding its' territory north and absorbing Cyrn Lothlin and Cyrn Radelin, establishing seaports at both places.
