Sildor (land of the stars) occupied most of the area later scourged by the Desolation. A pleasant sylvan land dotted with elegant cities and deep forests, Sildor was utterly indefensible, and was conquered.
The word Sildor is no longer spoken by the elves, though the creation of Belamir has eased the pain of its' loss.
