The Hammer is an outgrowth of the BB series of battleships; it is 40% larger and much tougher. It carries state-of-the-art TL E weapons and screens; unlike many ships, it also carries a frozen watch. There are no fighters. It was adjudged that the ship's fighting capabilities would compensate for its' long refuel process time. No reports from combat deployments have contradicted this.
