Wrathcairn

The ruins of a Duergar city surround it, though it's not of Duergar make.
Dominating the entire scene, looming titanic over the ruins, is the Cairn itself. A segment of the city is always in its vast shadow, which rotates slowly across the wreckage like some giant timepiece. Where the city is mouldering into the earth, the Cairn appears to be made of something totally different; while weathered and slightly eroded, it is in far better condition. Despite this, it gives an impression somehow of being older, vastly older than the city. Huge runes - the size of carts - are inscribed in its' massive sides, in no language any of you has ever encountered before.
