Thallith

Capital city of Antrol, much beloved of the hero Galoriand. Border city between Tellare and Tarlanor
730

Captured by the Dragon in the Invasion, Thallith was besieged and sacked again by the Elvenhost after the Slaying, and remained in ruins.

It was told that, although Doronond refused to aid the Northlands against the Dragon, Galoriand offered to come and fight if Thallith decided to resist, and on hearing that they had surrendered, wept for three days.

The ruins were absobed into New Tellare in 1604 and reconstruction commenced. Thallith became a major trade centre, particularly noted for its' fine furniture.

The city has survived the turbulent events of the 17 and 1800s and is now New Tellare's second city.

- Known for the quality of its furniture.
- A guild known for its scribes is found here.
- There is an important tomb here; the tomb of Prince Amrath, general at Thallan, buried 695.
- The faith of Aderra plays a prominent role in the community; King Surya funded a new library which now houses the biggest collection of furniture lore in the North.
