Kin ruler of Oret, not much good, killed in a revolt

Appointed governer of Oret early in the invasion, Elgnis was ineffectual at best, and the realm suffered badly from corruption and mismanagement. He was an administrator at heart, rather than a warrior, but not a very good one. When the country began to be increasingly plagued by lizard incursions after the establishment of Dalaghendor, Elgnis went to survey the damage for himself, was unlucky enough to be caught in a raid, and was killed.
