Long believed lost in the Elf Wars, they were recovered from his forge in the ruins of Lantalaure by Hildraft in 1600 and copied.
Currently held by the Bogadun clan in Kobur, and the source of much of Grispere Crusher's knowledge.
By 1637 the dwarves had taken not one but three copies of the entirity of the journals, and Grispere sent the originals back to Elverandil to mark his lordship of Lantalaure.
